Argentinos Juniors, the Argentine club that saw the birth of legends like Diego Armando Maradona, Juan Román Riquelme, and Esteban Cambiasso, has decided to establish its first branch in Europe in the municipality of Ceutí. The Ceutí Fútbol Club will be the base of operations for this ambitious project, which aims to establish the Argentinos Juniors brand in European territory. The contact was made thanks to Héctor Rubén Caparrós, an Argentine consultant based in the Region of Murcia, who conveyed the club's interest in opening an official headquarters in Europe. The agreement, signed for five years, includes the use of local facilities and collaboration with coaches from the municipality. The first objective is clear: to establish the Argentinos Juniors brand in Europe, taking advantage of the club's historical heritage. The number of teams affiliated with the club has doubled in a year, going from 13 to 24, and families from neighboring towns are drawn to the club's prestige. In addition, Argentinos Juniors not only wants to develop footballers but also integrate into the social life of the municipality, with parallel sports activities, inter-school programs, and community projects. Sebastián Pena will be the key piece in the direction and coordination of the project from Ceutí. The project has great potential for grassroots football in the region and for the club itself, which seeks to expand its legacy beyond Argentina. With this initiative, Argentinos Juniors aims to continue producing talent without stopping, as it has done in the past with players like Redondo, Sorín, Mac Allister, Nico González, or Federico Redondo. The club's philosophy is the same as in Buenos Aires: a club with 30,000 members, many of whom participate beyond the professional first team.
