Polideportivo Las Malvinas will be the hub of intense sporting activity for Argentinos Juniors this weekend. The club has scheduled over a dozen matches in basketball, tennis, handball, futsal, and baby football.

Action kicks off this Friday at 9:30 PM with the men's basketball team facing Macabi in the FEBAMBA league. Tennis continues on Saturday at 2:15 PM, as the men's team takes on Harrods in the Torneo Interclubes +25.

Handball and futsal

Saturday will also be busy at other venues. The women's handball team will play against UBA at 6:30 PM at the Microestadio Ciudad Universitaria, in the Liga de Honor. At the same time, but at the Microestadio Malvinas Argentinas, the men's futsal side meets Banfield in the Primera B AFA. On Sunday at 9:00 PM, on the same court, the women's futsal team hosts Atlanta.

Baby football across multiple venues

Baby football activity is concentrated on Saturday with six matches at various locations in Buenos Aires City and Hurlingham. At 9:00 AM, the Pacífico team plays at Santo Tomé 3845, while another squad faces Alvear at Las Malvinas. In the afternoon, at 2:00 PM, there will be matches at Las Malvinas against Sarmiento and Sagrado, at Albariño 2253 against Argentino Mataderos, and at Pedro Díaz 3726 in Hurlingham against Buen Ayre.

While the youth divisions and other sports compete, the football first team prepares for its next challenge in the Liga Profesional. After drawing 1-1 with Gimnasia La Plata on September 13, with a goal from Gastón Verón, the team looks to improve its form. Their recent record shows zero wins, three draws, and two defeats in the last five matches. The next fixture is on Sunday, September 20, away to Rosario Central.
