Argentinos Juniors, the leaders of the Clausura, face Platense this Sunday in a key match to protect their advantage at the top. The game, corresponding to matchday 12, will be played at the Estadio Ciudad de Vicente López starting at 5:00 PM local time.
The Bicho arrives at the clash after a 2-1 win over Tigre in their last outing, which keeps them at the summit with 21 points from 11 games. Their goal is straightforward: to keep winning and pull away from the chasing pack. Meanwhile, Platense sits in 13th place with 10 points and urgently needs a result to climb away from the lower mid-table positions.
Fans in Argentina can follow the duel on ESPN Premium and the Disney+ Premium platform. For supporters in other Latin American countries, the broadcast will be available on channels like TyC Sports Internacional and through the Fanatiz streaming service, depending on the region. The referee appointed to officiate the match is Nicolás Ramírez.
Argentinos Juniors is in solid form, with six wins and three draws in the tournament. Opposite them, Platense arrives after a 2-2 draw with Vélez, a result that halted a run of two consecutive defeats. El Calamar needs to improve its performance to trouble the league leaders.
